This exhibition showcases the poignant and powerful stories of seniors, residents in long-term care, and past lives. My goal is to transform family histories into tangible artworks that give people a voice and a way to be remembered and understood.
Through visionary textile art, this exhibit transforms life stories into captivating visual narratives, creating a living tapestry of deeply meaningful memories and experiences. I have found purpose and meaning in creating commissioned art that helps connect families by encouraging new conversations that can be shared with future generations. I love how textile art can bring light to the stories of the Canadian experience through many generations.
