Artist Retreat June 20-23 – Outdoor Sketching with Wendy Mould

Have you walked the beach BUT wished you could do more?  Create your own special memories with art.  Have a professional artist get you sketching and painting with joy and confidence.  Your artworks will be infused with your own personal connect to nature. You will be outdoor sketching with a small group of like-minded individuals enjoying all that nature has to offer. This 4-Day weekend will include:

  • Support in creating excellent reference photos, and outdoor sketching of incredible scenery of Seymour Arm and Shuswap Lake.
  • Spending quality time on the deck with professional artist to hone your art skills.
  • Creative conversations, sketching exercises, card readings, meal shares, or simply relaxing on the deck with your inspirations.

Facilitator: Wendy Mould, Wildlife Artist & Sketch Booker is known to be an outstanding teacher, superb artist mentor, and arts support. Wendy will teach you tips and tricks to capture the scenery before you with a pen or brush.

Sep 13-14, 2025 – Harvest Cooking and Textile Art Retreat with Joanne Dennis

I will be sharing tips and tricks to great healthy down to earth harvest cooking by going back to the basics.  I will teach you how to make cheese, yogurt, condiments, sourdough breads and more.  You will learn how easy it is to cook from scratch with basic whole ingredients and save money.  Each meal will include interactive lessons where you bring home the recipes and the goods.  When we are not cooking, I will teach you some fun textile art projects and art making through reuse, upcycling and reducing fabric waste.
