Boucher Legacy

Description

My father’s family – the Boucher line.  A historic family for Canada, as they settled in L’Islet Sur Mer from France in 1745.  Built a dairy farm, which stands to this day, and is worked by my cousin. And where sits a church , where the chandelier was brought from France.  The letters include an agreement with the church to donate land for a seminary, and a purchase order in 1912 for materials to build schools on the south shore of the St. Lawrence.  Our family history is much richer than I had ever imagined before I took on the research to discover who my father was.
